Students with special needs, such as: learning disabilities, attention disorders, or autism, share the same fears about middle school transition as their sixth grade peers. It is important to be sensitive to the anxieties of students moving into a new school setting. This CD will address suggestions for handling transition concerns that middle school students face. Parents will be informed on ways that lead to a comfort zone for transitioning the middle school student with special needs.
